Registration

Registration can be submitted by stating first name, last name, club number, and name along with the membership number either via email, by phone, or at the reception of Golf Club Waldhof. The tournament committee reserves the right to accept or decline a registration.

Registration deadline
  • For 9 and 18 hole tournaments, the registration deadline is at 6:00 PM on the day before the respective tournament
  • For all other tournaments, the registration deadline is as stated in the announcement
  • Minimum number of participants: 6 people
Entry fee
  • The entry fee for standard golf tournaments consists of the green fee and the registration fee, and is announced in the official announcement of the respective tournament.
  • The entry fee is due upon submission of the registration and must be paid in cash on-site before the player starts the first round. If a participant withdraws their registration after the registration deadline or does not show up at the start, the entry fee must still be paid.
  • The entry fee for 9-hole golf tournaments includes a snack during the award ceremony, while the entry fee for 18-hole golf tournaments includes a halfway snack and dinner during the award ceremony.
Deregister from the tournament

Players and teams that, despite their registration, are unable to participate in the tournament must withdraw from the GC Waldhof e.V. as early as possible. However, the obligation to pay the entry fee remains unaffected by this.

Default limits

The determining factor is the valid base specification on the day of the nomination deadline, taking into account the space specification.

Ranking and ranking groups

Unless otherwise decided by the tournament management, both the 9-hole golf tournaments and the 18-hole golf tournaments with handicap effects for men and women will be scored in one ranking group for net and gross. For the net scoring, the respective playing allowance dependent on the base handicap will be applied. In the gross scoring, the CR adjustment will be applied.

Briefing before the start

All players must report to the tournament management for a brief instruction as well as the announcement of the starting list and starting times 15 minutes before the start. It is the decision of the tournament management whether the tournament will start normally or, for easier execution, with a shotgun start. In the case of a shotgun start, players must proceed immediately to their respective starting tee after the briefing.

Suspension of play

Generally, the tournament must be played without undue delay. Exceptions to this are:

  • Suspension due to danger: The tournament management can suspend play due to danger.
  • Suspension for a break: In an 18-hole tournament, a halfway snack is planned. In the case of a normal tournament start, this can be taken after completing the first 9 holes while passing the clubhouse. In the case of a shotgun start, the halfway snack can only be taken after the first round of playing hole 9 while passing the clubhouse.
  • After consuming the snack, the players must immediately resume the game in the starting order and at the same time intervals. The order must be strictly adhered to, and any violation will result in disqualification.
  • A suspension of the game due to rain or other reasons is not permitted and will result in disqualification.
Nearest to the Pin - Ranking

Within an 18-hole tournament, a Nearest to the Pin competition will also be conducted. The scoring will be according to the announcement. All tee shots that land on the green are valid. There is a list and a measuring tape available on the green. Players whose tee shot lands on the green must measure the exact distance to the pin, including the counter, and record it in the list. After the tournament concludes, the list will be collected by the tournament committee and used for scoring.

Submission of the scorecard

The scorecard must be completely and legibly filled out immediately after completion and submitted to the tournament committee, signed by both the player and the marker. The scoring area is the entire clubhouse.

Conclusion of Tournaments and Award Ceremony

Tournaments are considered finished only with the official announcement of the results during the award ceremony. The award ceremony takes place after the tournament meal following the exact evaluation.

  • In case of complaints after the official conclusion of the competition, Rule 34-1 applies!

Past Golf Events

Events and celebrations are just as much a part of a golf holiday in the Salzkammergut as the beautiful greens, the turquoise Fuschlsee and wonderful sunshine. We also regularly organize golf tournaments for a good cause and would like to say THANK YOU to all participants.

Dirndl & Boys Charity Turnier 2022

Golfing for radiant children's eyes

The Waldhof Fuschl am See Golf Club – a small club with a big heart. For the seventh time, the "Dirndl & Buam" charity tournament took place at GC Waldhof on September 10, 2022. Under the dress code "traditional attire," participants played in pairs in the tournament organized by the greenkeepers Christa and Jakob Teufl.

For the participants' culinary well-being during the 18-hole round, Andreas Teufl from the Teufl organic farm in Faistenau provided refreshments. In the cozy atmosphere of the Waldhof Alm, the participants were able to conclude the tournament day with good food, live music, and plenty of fun.

A total of €3,000 was raised. The Make-A-Wish Foundation® Österreich fulfills heartfelt wishes for seriously ill children between the ages of 3 and 18, and the Waldhof Golf Club is happy to support this wonderful organization.
