Special features of individual fairways

Fairway 4
  • The path along fairway 4 is considered an immovable obstruction according to Golf Rule 16.1, and relief may be taken under 16.1. In the area where the path is not clearly identifiable as such, relief may not be taken.
Fairway 5
  • Special caution should be taken for pedestrians and vehicles, as well as for the adjacent houses and the people and objects present there.
  • The tee markers must not be changed under any circumstances.
  • The ball may only be played once the tee of Fairway 6 is clear.
  • If a struck ball does not hit the fairway but instead lands on adjacent property, it must be reported to the office immediately, stating the exact time, even if no visible damage has occurred!
Fairway 6
  • Special caution should be taken for pedestrians and vehicles on the road.
  • In the event of a lost ball in the biotope on Fairway 6, the player may proceed according to Rule 17 (Penalty Area). Additionally, as an alternative, play may be resumed at the end of the biotope in the dropping zone with a penalty stroke.
  • In the event of a lost ball on Fairway 6 in the lateral out-of-bounds area to the right, the dropping zone may not be used. Only Rule 18 (lost ball or out of bounds; provisional ball) applies here.
  • If the ball is in front of or on the rock on Fairway 6 (rule 19: unplayable ball), it may be dropped from the pedestal with a penalty stroke.
  • If the ball lies in front of the wooden drainage (rule 16.1: immovable obstruction), it may be dropped freely on the pedestal. If the ball is on the pedestal at the drainage at the back end of the green on the gravel bed (rule 24-2: immovable obstruction), the ball may be dropped closer to the hole, but only on the pedestal without penalty.
Fairway 7
  • For safety reasons, we recommend tee shots of up to 150 meters (longer clubs at your own risk and liability).
  • When hitting towards the green, care must be taken to ensure that the ball is not played towards the farm (Note: the slope of the fairway causes the ball to tend to deviate further to the right!)
  • Any shot played towards the farmhouse or the parking lot must be reported to the office immediately, stating the exact time, even if no visible damage has occurred!
Fairway 8
  • Access to the driving range, which is crossed by Fairway 8, is strictly prohibited! The path from the tee to the fairway follows the signage to the right along the path and behind the tees and the tee hut over, even when the driving range is not in use. Golfers should set an example for non-golfers and children here.
  • The driving range is marked as out of bounds in its entirety. If a ball lands in the driving range, the player may proceed according to rule 18 (lost ball or out of bounds; provisional ball).
  • In case of illegal crossing or entering of the driving range, the Birdie Box appreciates your donation of € 30.
Fairway 9
  • Entering the adjacent property next to the out-of-bounds area on the left side of Fairway 9 is strictly prohibited.
  • If the ball lands in the area to the right of the green (red stakes with white markings), it must be dropped with a penalty stroke in the designated dropping zone behind the green.
